Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a Senior Sales & Operations Planner for the Bainbridge, PA location.

This position will be responsible for coordinating among sales, merchandising and grain operations to ensure inventory and space is available to meet both sales and storage requirements.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate among sales, merchandisers and grain operations to ensure inventory and space is available to meet both sales and storage requirements.

  • Coordinate among merchandisers, operations and transportation to assess the impact of changes in capacity and product supply.

  • Coordinate with Transportation to determine the availability of equipment.

  • Develop and maintain the master data workbook that outlines logistic capabilities and quality requirements for customers and locations.

  • Prepare routine and ad hoc logistic reports.

  • Create, update and close load orders as required.

  • Enter accruals and validate after the fact non-freight accruals in SmartSoft.

Minimum Education

High School Graduate or GED (required)

BS Degree - AgriBusiness, Business or Sales & Marketing (preferred)

Experience Requirements

3+ years of experience is required. Understanding of Sales and Marketing concepts. Strong oral and written communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong negotiating skills. Understanding of transportation modes and methodologies. Understanding of standard software applications.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Normal climate controlled office spaces. Able to operate a motor vehicle and travel to and from customer locations. Able to use standard office equipment to include telephone, computers, copiers etc. Able to move freely about plant and customer facilities. May be exposed to external weather conditions to include rain, snow and extreme temperatures (0 - 100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), and noise (50db to 100db). Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
