The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing assigned maintenance duties within scope of classification to include equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown and equipment failures.
This is a full-time, day shift position. The hours will be Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. Weekend and overtime work will be scheduled based on business needs.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
Diagnose failures to mechanical equipment and make repairs
Rebuild mechanical equipment
Fabricate sheet metal
Compile and complete paperwork relative to repairs to include but not limited to work orders, time cards and job cards
Perform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies
Respond to calls after hours and on weekends to repair mechanical equipment failures as needed
High School or equivalent
2+ years of Maintenance experience. Reading, writing and analytical skills are required.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), climbing vertical ladders, carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus. Required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities.
