Description/Job Summary

QA Verifier 1st Shift

Tuesday - Saturday Schedule

Responsibilities/Duties

-Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality

-Follow instructions given by supervisor

-Work as a technician in various production areas and make reasonable and appropriate judgments according to TQC, HACCP and SOP programs.

-Keep composure in stressful situations.

-Record keeping.

-Place on hold any product that violates or deviates from product specifications of total quality control program.

Preferred Education

HS Diploma or GED

Required Qualifications

  • at least 18 year of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Strong work history, worked for one employer for at least 6 months in the past three years.

  • Willing and able to stand for several hours

  • Willing and able to work in wet and extreme cold and hot conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance.

  • Ability to withstand exposure to all physical and chemical elements of the processing environment

  • Decision-making ability to place on hold any product that violates or deviates from product specifications of total quality control program.

  • Good communication skills, relating with various production departments as well as management and Q.A.

  • Ability to work as a technician in various areas and make reasonable and appropriate judgments according to TQC, HACCP and SOP programs.

  • Ability to keep composure in stressful situations.

  • Ability to keep accurate and organized records.

  • Must have good people skills and enjoy working with people.

Preferred Qualifications

-Stable attendance record

-Knowledge of HACCP and SSOP's

-Previous QA Experience
