Summary
Maintain, service, and perform repairs on equipment in order to ensure proper operation of production equipment and electrical systems.
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Benefits
This position has a target wage of $25.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and understand manufacturer's equipment manuals, preventative (PM) task sheets, and safety policies
Perform equipment adjustments and repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency breakdowns
Perform specific duties during both production and non-production hours in a timely manner within OSHA Lockout/Tagout and Company safety regulations
Monitor performance of equipment and inform maintenance and production supervisors of potential issues
Maintain log books by applying math skills through the equipment PM stages in order to calibrate machinery to performance standards
Adhere to all safety rules including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters
Minimum Education
- High School or equivalent
Experience Requirements
Reading, writing, and analytical skills are required
Ability to learn to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is active on the floor activities such as troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems are routine
May need to move equipment occasionally
May need to access files, supplies, and equipment
Position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the facility
Exposed to all seasonal weather conditions
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
Must be able to climb heights up to 120 feet
Must be able to operate a forklift
May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry food processing facility
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required
