Summary

The Soy Process Laborer is responsible to provide housekeeping and general labor duties throughout the soybean plant.

This position is a full-time, benefit eligible position that requires 12-hour, rotational shifts.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate housekeeping equipment to include mowing, trimming, and sweeping equipment.

  • Perform routine operator maintenance on housekeeping equipment.

  • Perform other routine housekeeping activities to include painting, dusting, and shoveling.

  • Perform other routine labor task as directed.

  • Perform all work within the safety guidelines established by local state, and federal agencies as well as company policies.

Minimum Education

  • High School or GED, Further education is preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • TWIC application is required

  • General industry safety knowledge.

  • Must possess basic computer skills and be familiar with operating process from a computer-based system.

  • Multi-tasking a must.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Able to move freely throughout the agribusiness facilities including climbing vertical heights (0 -150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 lbs.), exposure temperatures (0-100) degrees Fahrenheit, humidity (0-100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus.
