Summary
Maintains, services and performs repairs on equipment in order to ensure proper operation of production equipment and electrical systems.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment. Diagnose failures to electrical equipment and make repairs. Rebuild electrical equipment. Fabricate conduit. Compile and complete paperwork relative to include but not limited to work orders, time cards, and job cards. Perform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies. Respond to calls after hours and on weekends to repair electrical equipment and power failures. Perform other assigned task as assigned.
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent
Experience Requirements
2 - 4 years. Reading, writing and analytical skills are required.Must have all personal tools at all times and be able to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment.
Experience Preferred
Advanced electrical training
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Able to move freely throughout the Division facilities to include climbing vertical height (0-150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds.), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity (0-100%), noise (50dB to 100dB), and chemicals (SDS sheets available). Required to travel to remote Division facilities.
