Description/Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership and direction for electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration departments involved in assigned areas; provide strong administrative processes in safety, budgets, or plans, USDA, OSHA, EPA, PM programs,

cost reports, project scheduling; and provide formal process training.

This positions is slated for internal candidates; they will be given first consideration.


  1. To manage and coordinate subordinate supervision to maintain the up keep and or acquisition of machines, buildings, and grounds within guidelines set by management.

  2. Provide a safe work environment for all associates within Perdue and OSHA safety guidelines including lockout/tagout.

  3. Develop and promote a team oriented operation through education of all associates in the QIP and team management.

  4. Develop and maintain a versatile and technically competent staff through education and team management and monthly cost meetings.

  5. Manage maintenance operations to achieve goals and objectives as they relate to the OP Plan through scheduling PM’s, alternative vendors, and equipment evaluations for quality checks.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance supervisory/leadership experience.

Exemplary knowledge of steam boiler/ammonia industrial refrigeration, industrial 3 phase 240/12470 volt electrical and automated machinery.

Must have strong written and oral communication skills.

Must have working knowledge of MS Office programs i.e. Word, Excel, and Powerpoint (Maximo and SAP preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of a 4 year degree with a concentration in mechanical maintenance or related field of study.
