Summary

Provides clerical and administrative support to Director, Operations and other plant management as needed.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Organizes schedules, tours and meetings. Performs clerical and administrative duties supporting Director, Operations and other plant management. Acts as a liaison between Dir, Operations and direct reports. Answers phones and relays any messages. Gathers statistical information to update logs, graphs and reports. Calculates quarterly processing figures. Maintains office supplies and orders when required. Distributes interoffice mail.

Minimum Education

AA degree in Business Administration or related field plus 1 -2 years related work experience or in the absence of an AA degree, total work experience would equal 5 -6 years.

Experience Requirements

Strong reading, writing, math and analytical skills are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the latest office equipment.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. When filing or retrieving files, requires bending, some stooping and lifting up to 40 lbs.

4. Work activity is in an office environment.
