Summary
The purpose of this position is to perform responsible operational, laboratory, maintenance functions and to operate an offal and wastewater systems in support of a poultry processing plant.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain effluent compliance.
Maintain operations of offal and proper loading of trailers.
Perform assigned Preventive Maintenance.
Maintain all paperwork.
Repair and maintain all equipment in offal and wastewater area.
Perform inspections of the WTS equipment, injection ports, etc.
Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and process safety management related matters.
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent plus required state license.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Experience Requirements
2 - 4 years experience.
"D" P/C wastewater license. Able to pass and obtain class "C" P/C license in 2 years.
Strong reading, writing and math skills.
