Manage relationships with operations teams at a third party distribution center. Integral part of the logistics team to effectively combine warehousing and production with transportation and distribution.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with our operations teams and Americold Leesport by taking ownership of our distribution network. Manage the Perdue business and rooms at the Americold Leesport DC.

  • Produce and provide service levels which meet or exceed our customer expectations (CSI Goals). Uphold quality standards necessary to protect our brands.

  • Manage projects that will improve the distribution process at Perdue facilities.

  • Manage the Perdue cost and forecast at the Americold Leesport DC

  • Maintain the Americold Leesport DC OS&D levels, and entering of SLT (stock loss tolerance) or any Americold claims.

  • Review standards for loading and shipping to internal and external customers.

Minimum Education

REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in a related filed plus 7-10 years experience in Operations or Supply Chain Management.

Experience Requirements

  • Must have excellent analytical skills supported by sound business and industry experience.

  • Knowledge of SAP for shipping and receiving operations.

  • Ability to travel as needed to plant, customer, and distribution locations.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
