Summary

1.This position is responsible for helping to manage the staffing levels in the operation by recruiting and selecting qualified candidates.

2.This position is the face of the Company to the community and prospective employees.

3.This position also will help orientate new associates into the company.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for maintaining operations manpower and overhead numbers as required.

  2. Develops and maintains a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates via on-line recruiting resources, local community involvement, and local institutions (i.e., colleges and the Employment Security Commission).

  3. Conducts interviews and phone screens of potential candidates.

  4. Utilizes all HR reporting tools (i.e., manpower, headcount and other required reports) to perform audits and generate reports. Inform management on trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to remain competitive.

  5. Coordinates internal and external job fairs, college visits, etc.

  6. Conducts background checks and assessment testing on candidates.

  7. Makes employment offers meeting legal and Company criteria.

  8. Maintains all necessary legal and regulatory document

Minimum Education

  1. AA degree in Business Administration

Experience Requirements

1.Human Resources or related filed or equivalent related experience required plus 2 -3 years related work experience.

2.Knowledge and experience of HRIS.

3.Requires prior experience using HR/Payroll database systems.

4.Proven success in handling administrative responsibilities.

5.Demonstrated ability for accuracy, meeting deadlines, experience in multi-tasking and ability to work with minimum supervision.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

  2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

  3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

  4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

  5. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.

6.May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity

  1. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

8.May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.

9.Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the company.
