The Employment Process Clerk assists with the Human Resources transactional process for employee and applicants within the Milford Plant. Serves as a point of contact for applicants, associates, supervisors and managers

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintains flow of the Human Resource office and lobby.

  • Provide administrative assistance to both associates and applicants

  • Assists with Human Resource office management -- maintains updated office documents and supplies.

  • Assists with correspondence to candidates, tracks/schedules physicals and assists with new hire orientation scheduling

  • Greets and assists visitors and callers referring them to sources of information, distributing appropriate forms and explaining procedures.

  • Works independently with minimum supervision.

  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Education

  • AA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. In the absence of a degree, work experience may be considered.

  • AA degree is preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years experience.

  • Knowledge and experience of HRIS.

  • Requires prior experience using HR/Payroll database systems.

  • Proven success in handling administrative responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated ability for accuracy, meeting deadlines, experience in multi-tasking and ability to work with minimum supervision.

Experience Preferred

  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Creole
