The overall purpose of this position is to provide support to the shipping department by billing shipping loads on time, supporting our food safety process by completing required HACCP / Quality checks around temperatures and product boxing integrity, accurate review of billing paperwork ensuring 0 errors, monitoring inventories, assisting management team by picking loads and issuing to loaders, accurate billing of pallet counts in 3 rd party vendor’s system, and communicating with drivers, management, and associates during the course or daily duties.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete required HACCP / Quality checks and documentation for temperature requirements on each load.

  • Bill out completed loads check paperwork for accuracy.

  • CFS Order management to add to, change, delete, or raise age on orders and products based on SAP information.

  • Make proper movements and transactions in SAP/CFS to balance or correct inventory discrepancies while billing loads.

  • Perform other departmental duties as directed by management or lead person.

Minimum Education

  • High School or equivalent

Experience Requirements

  • Strong reading, writing, math, computer and analytical skills.

  • Computer skills must include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience Preferred

  • Previous manufacturing experience and /or experience with SAP and CFS are highly preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

  • When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.

  • May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.

  • May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.

  • May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
