Perform all checks required by the plant, USDA and Quality Control.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs all checks required by the plant, USDA, and Quality Control.
Checks for contamination, condemn barrels, salvage, make sure all cuts are proper, etc.
Time line to assure accurate line speed.
All checks are done at one hour intervals.
Documents all results on proper forms.
Lifting birds weighing 14-50 pounds and traveling a distance of entire Evisceration room, in order to perform duties of job.
High School diploma or GED preferred
Strong reading, communication math, writing and analytical skills are required.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Temperature exposure ranges from less than 32°F to over 85°F, noise level 90-94.9dB and light intensity of 10-100 foot candles (depending on checks being done.). Chlorine exposure 5ppm, 1 part chlorine to 12 parts water. Maintain line speed of 41-55 bpm, for a two hour interval with a maximum of four hours per shift. Personal protective equipment is required
