Summary
Tracks physical inventory of product, allocates inventory and maintains accurate records to ensure quality, shelf life and tracking of product. Actively involved in the company safety program and the long-term and short-term goals of the department.
Compensation Data
This position has a target wage of $20.00-23.50 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Accurately controls and tracks physical inventory of product.
Maintains Distribution Center (DC) warehouse clean and in order.
Allocates inventory against orders.
Schedules orders to WPL scales to be completed by the WPL team.
Maintains status of orders through entire process.
Participates in inventory process and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
Maintains accurate records of quanitity, type and value of stock.
Maintains inventory database.
Prepares all required reports and correspondence; performs required administrative tasks
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent
Experience Requirements
0 to 2 years. Knowledge of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is active. On the plant floor activities such as troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems are routine. May need to move equipment occasionally; ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs boxes and materials. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
