Provide Maintenance Planning Clerk skills to support the Maintenance Planner and the maintenance activity scheduling. This includes documentation to support maintenance activities that include: preventive maintenance, capital projects and other maintenance activities using Maximo. (Maximo is a work order and purchase order-tracing system that provides the best and most effective support to the processing of maintenance and maintenance planning activities.). This position requires the ability to work with technical terms; Examples: MRO parts, maintenance trades, technical terminology specific to welding, fabrication, machinery parts, rebuilding equipment, etc.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide documentation and reports needed to support the function of the planner.
Administer preventive maintenance documentation for all plant equipment to include Safety; USDA, HACCP and PROJECT related items. This will include tracking of all man-hours and parts usage per PM, Work Order and Project.
Generate Capital Expense Requests (CER’s) necessary to support the planning and maintenance functions. (Special training will be provided).
Maintenance related documentation and report writing.
Prepare maintenance labor utilization reports.
Prepare assigned cost tracking reports (parts)
File requisitions and reference material for purchase orders.
Build and maintain a tracking system for equipment downtime that provides the planner and maintenance with tools to focus on problem areas to improve plant operations.
Provide with necessary reports that satisfy the needs of maintenance, accounting, purchasing and maintenance costs.
Adhere to all safety requirements including wearing required personal protective equipment, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Adhering to Lockout /tag out procedures and maintaining Process Safety Management equipment related data. Maintain all related maintenance documentation.
Any other duties assigned by the Planner, Complex Maintenance Manager and/or Maintenance Superintendent.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred with reading, writing, math and analytical skill required. Personal computer skills (including Microsoft Office, etc.) is required.
