The Corporate Manager of Learning & Development creates, implements or sources development programs including leadership, management, teambuilding, communication skills and other non-technical skills classes. Manages e-learning activities. Partners with business leaders to identify and diagnose organizational development issues as well as programs, processes and practices to further strategic business initiatives.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acts as the go to within the business for inquires or issues regarding learning and development plans and works closely with various leaders across the organization in order to have a full understanding of strategic direction and development opportunities.

  • Creates, implements or sources both hourly and salaried training programs, processes and practices.

  • Facilitates our flagship operations management trainee program (new college graduates) to include program management, conference planning and on-going onboarding and development.

  • Captures metrics related to learning and development and analyzes data for improvements.

  • Responsible for facilitating a wide variety of soft skill courses to include Leadership skills, Emotional Intelligence, Mentoring and the like.

  • Manage the e-learning platform, Perdue Learning University On-Line to include course development across a wide range of disciplines.

  • Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party training providers

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience, and 5+ years of relevant Human Resources experience.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Proven track record of on-ground classroom facilitation, particularly non-technical involving hourly or production associates.

  • Experience with instructional design and content development.

  • Must be willing to travel as needed.

Candidates with previous L&D or HR experience in the protein, agriculture or manufacturing sectors are highly preferred.
