The Demand Generation Manager will have primary responsibility for the acquisition and retention of customers through direct and indirect channels for both a traditional and mobile digital commerce environment. Email, both transactional and commerce, will also be this positions responsibility for both revenue generation and general content communication. Will work cross functionally and cross company to make sure that we are developing a long term valuable relationship with our customers using a combination of channel, merchandising offer and customer insights. Will be the owner of the customer file and be responsible for its growth and value.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and delivers the customer, revenue and unit forecast.
Achieves the stated goals of revenue, margin and customer file growth using the marketing, merchandising and allocated budget.
Creates and manages a robust test and control environment across all channels.
Develops and manages a customer segmentation strategy that optimizes the customer experience through personalization while achieving the stated business goals.
Helps the VP and SVP develop a digital environment at the company that leverages the 22k employees as brand and commerce ambassadors.
Hires and develops top talent
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or Finance.
5 plus years experience. In the absence of a degree, will consider additional work related experience with increasing financial responsibility and people management. Prior experience managing a budget with different types of marketing engagements from direct management to agency and different types of financial performances standards from fixed fee, % of revenue, per order and sponsorships. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Extremely comfortable with spreadsheets and working in a highly quantitative environment. Able to work without regular direct supervision and comfortable with ambiguity.
