Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a Maintenance Reliability Intern in Salisbury, MD . The Maintenance Reliability Internship will provide an introduction to college students seeking a career in Engineering.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of the agricultural business processes.
Develop an understanding of Asset Based Preventative Maintenance, and the management and execution of such
Develop an understanding of best practices as it relates to precision maintenance technology, devices, and execution.
Develop an understanding of project management techniques, as it relates to manufacturing shutdown planning and execution
Develop an understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, and documentation control to maintain best in class asset health
High School Graduate
2 – 3 years of college coursework in Engineering, Reliability or related field
Proficient in the use of commonly used office suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher; 3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in different production environments (hot and cold). Some minor lifting may be required. Able to move freely about agricultural areas including climbing straight ladders up to 150' in height. Exposed to external weather conditions to include rain and extreme temperatures (-15 to 90 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), and noise (50db to 100db). Able to use standard office equipment to include telephone, computers, copiers etc.
