Summary

Serve as the administrative resource for direct material purchasing by successfully fulfilling the following: ensures timely payment of vendor invoices for raw material and co-pack purchases; monitors various systems to proactively resolve issues related to purchasing and contracts; maintains all required supplier approval and certification documentation and all required ingredient technical documentation; manages the transactional procurement cycle for raw materials, co-packing and other assigned categories; prepares contract documents and coordinates the contract approval and signature workflow; prepares various reports using purchasing systems and Office Suite.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain SAP purchase orders for raw materials, co-packing and other assigned categories.

  • Produce daily SAP open orders reports and resolve any related issues.

  • Ensure efficient and effective resolution of all invoice payment issues.

  • Maintain all required Supplier certification and approval documentation.

  • Maintain all required ingredient specification and approval documentation.

  • Prepare the necessary Purchase and/or Service Agreements as assigned and coordinate the workflow of these documents.

  • Ensure compliance to all company requirements within assigned areas of responsibility.

  • Prepare various reports using SAP, Excel, Zycus or other purchasing systems.

  • Perform other clerical / administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and communication skills (written and oral).

  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Experience Preferred

  • Proficiency in SAP.

  • College degree in areas of Business Administration, Marketing or related.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. 4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
