Summary
Sales Planning ensures work between Marketing, Field Sales, and the Internal Commercial Strategy and Business Planning communicates brand strategies supported by initiatives, implementation plans and executional measurement. The Sr Sales Planning Manager is Field Sales primary point of contact in the delivery of Customer Plans, Annual Brand Plans and represents Field sales requests back into the commercial organization.
Sales Planning is organized by the Field Sales structure to represent the voice of the Channel and Customer to the Brands and to connect the Brands to Customers and Channels. Sales Planning is supported internally by the Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, and Shopper Marketing/Digital departments.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Primary point of contact (PPOC) between Sales, Marketing and RGM
Works with Sales team to meet MAPS goals
Leverages TCI & financial analysis to improve assigned customers’ profitability
Develop and execute customer business plans
RFP receipt, analysis and process management
Communicate initiatives and new product introductions to Sales
Sales Playbook development and deployment
Develop and improve Sales Planning tools
Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, MBA preferred, or a relevant field, and 5-8 years of related experience.
The ideal candidate will also have:
Strong analytical, financial management, business acumen and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills) including listening ability
Knowledge of retailer go to market strategies and class of trade/channel dynamics
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Circana
Action oriented, priority setting, drive for results mindset
Excellent attention to details
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Organizational influence

Position is to be office based within a cubical environment.
