Summary

This position will be responsible for supporting the endeavors of the trade execution and logistics team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with assisting with executing the company's internal and external truck/rail trades efficiently and cost effectively. Involved in full chain of events post-sales from contract execution to payment/final contract settlement. Individual works in close coordination with trading team and third-party service providers including truckers, freight forwarders, container lines/NVOCCs.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute truck/rail logistics in fulfillment of purchase and sale contract terms for internal and external customers.

  • Be the key interface for supplier and customer orders.

  • Coordinate the generation and flow of documents to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collection and application of payments for all truck/rail shipment.

  • Be the point of contact person for customer and suppliers for all logistics and documentation related matters. Keep customer informed as to status of shipments.

  • Support trading team on the issuance and maintenance of sale/purchase contracts.

  • Generate and file reports for internal as well as external stakeholders.

  • Support stakeholders after hours and weekends as needed.

  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

Experience Preferred

  • Prior experience in agricultural field or supply chain management
