Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a Trade Execution Planner position in Salisbury, MD . This position will be responsible for supporting the endeavors of the trade execution and logistics team. He/she will be tasked with assisting with executing the company’s internal and external truck/rail trades efficiently and cost effectively.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Execute truck/rail logistics in fulfillment of purchase and sale contract terms for internal and external customers. Duties including contract entry and execution from initial input of a trade in to the system to ensuring payment is received/sent.
Be the key interface for supplier and customer pricings, fills, and logistics.
Coordinate the generation and flow of documents to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collection and application of payments for all truck/rail shipment.
Be the point of contact person for customers and suppliers for all logistics and documentation related matters. Keep customer informed as to status of shipments.
Support Trading Team on the issuance and maintenance of sale/purchase contracts.
Generate and file reports for internal as well as external stakeholders.
Support stakeholders after hours and weekends as needed.
PREFERRED: Undergraduate degree. Prior experience in agricultural field or supply chain management.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
