The Specialty Crops Clerk is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the processing plant.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create, update and distribute daily and monthly production reports

  • Input, update and assist in required data tracking for safety (RCI) and production processes

  • Prepare request forms, shipping instructions and shipping for samples and other items

  • Provide customer support as required

  • Assist in ordering and receiving materials as needed for production

  • Compile, distribute and file all incoming analysis sheets

  • Perform all work within the safety guidelines established by local, state and federal agencies as well as company policies

  • Assist in Process Safety Management activities and training

  • Assist in Perdue safety activities and training

  • Assist in GMP+ activities and training

Minimum Education

High School or equivalent

Experience Requirements

1 to 3 years of office support experience. Strong communication skills. Strong math skills. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of standard software applications.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment. Able to move freely throughout the facility. Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), able to lift (0-50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available.
