Summary
Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a Soy Crew Leader - Night shift at the Trenton, KY location.
This position will be responsible for the processing operation oversight and to ensure associate safety and compliance at all times
The working hours are 9 pm to 6 am
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the plant manager in managing the operations
Ensure working conditions for all associates are in compliance with the safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies
Assist the plant manager in coordination and directing the daily activities of crews and teams for Soy Crushing functions
Train, develop, and follow up to ensure team members are able to perform required operations tasks
Cover positions when and wherever needed, to avoid any undue hardship on other associates
Accurate daily production reporting
Perform job within established CGMP's
Perform other tasks as assigned
Minimum Education
- High School Graduate or GED, further education preferred
Experience Requirements
Basic leadership skills
Knowledge of manufacturing technologies
Knowledge of safety programs and requirements
Knowledge of environmental programs and requirements
Understanding of standard software applications
Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150')
Able to carry tools and equipment (0 -50 lbs)
Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 degree Fahrenheit)
Humidity (0 - 100%)
Noise (50db to 100db)
Chemical (MSDS sheets available)
Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus, hard hat, safety glasses, protective footwear and other PPE as required
